A chuck open/close command (M83, M84) was issued while the spindle or M-tool was in rotation.
Chuck open/close was attempted with the external interlock signal ON (only when the loader is provided as an option).

Probable Faulty Locations
1)[Code]3, 6, 7->Operation error
2)[Code]1, 5->Spindle control unit is defective.
3)[Code]2->Spindle is rotating by inertia.(5[1/min] or higher)

Measures to Take
1)[Code]3, 6, 7->Open/close the chuck after designating the spindle and M-tool spindle stop command.
2)[Code]1, 5->Check the spindle control unit printed circuit boards and connectors.
3)[Code]2->Designated the command only after the spindle has stopped completely.
4)[Code]20->Turn off the air chuck selector switch and release the alarm by NC reset. Then, issue the hydraulic chuck open command to open the hydraulic chuck and turn on the air chuck selector switch again.
5)[Code]55->Advance/retract the locater after designating the spindle and M-tool spindle stop command.
