Sinumerik Alarm 26030 Axis %1 encoder %2 absolute position lost

Parameters:
%1 = Axis name, spindle number
%2 = Encoder number

Definitions:
The absolute position of the absolute encoder has become invalid because – on changing parameter block a changed gear stage ratio was identified between encoder and processing or – the encoder has been replaced (the absolute encoders serial number has changed).

Reactions:
– Mode group not ready.
– Channel not ready.
– If the axis is a single axis when this alarm is triggered, the alarm is only effective for this axis (not effective for e.g. the channel or mode group)
– Channel not ready.
– NC Start disable in this channel.
– NC Stop on alarm.
– The NC switches to follow-up mode.
– Alarm display.
– Interface signals are set.
– Axes of this channel must be re-referenced.

Remedy:
Please inform the authorized personnel/service department. Rereferencing/resynchronization of the absolute encoder; attach encoder on the load side and configure correctly (e.g. MD 31040 ENC_IS_DIRECT).

Program Continuation:
Clear alarm with the RESET key in all channels of this mode group. Restart part program.
